Render your animation on spare RTX cards for $0.99 a GPU-hour.
Upload a packed .blend, pick a frame range, and we split it across several RTX 4090 and 5080-class cards. You pay for render time on finished frames, billed by the second.
From .blend to frames in four steps
Upload
Pack resources into the .blend (File → External Data → Pack Resources) and upload it with your frame range and output format.
Split
Your range is cut into frames and queued. Each GPU takes the next frame as soon as it finishes the last one.
Render
Cycles renders on RTX cards with OptiX. If a machine drops out, its frame goes back in the queue and you aren't charged for it.
Download
Grab the frames as a zip of PNG or EXR files, plus a log of render time per frame.
- Billed by the second of render time on frames that finish.
- No subscription, no minimum job size.
- Upload, scene prep and downloads are free.
- The price may change before launch. Waitlist members hear first.
What it handles at launch
Good fit
- Cycles animations: dozens to thousands of frames
- Big still images split into tiles you assemble
- Scenes that fit in 16 GB of GPU memory (24 GB on 4090-class cards)
- Baked simulations and packed textures
Not yet
- Eevee and CPU-only renders
- Add-ons that need a licence server or the internet while rendering
- Simulations that still need baking
- Jobs with a hard deadline in the next hour
FAQ
Is this live?
No. Overnight Frames is in early access planning. The waitlist tells us whether enough artists want it at this price. If it goes ahead, waitlist members get the first invites.
What cards render my frames?
Consumer NVIDIA RTX cards, mostly RTX 4090 and 5080 class, rented by the hour from GPU cloud providers. Every frame renders on one card; your job runs on several cards at once.
What if a machine drops out mid-frame?
The frame goes back in the queue and renders on another card. You pay only for frames that finish.
What happens to my files?
Uploads and rendered frames are deleted 7 days after a job finishes. We don't use your scenes for anything except rendering them.
Why is it cheaper than most render farms?
We rent spare consumer GPUs by the hour instead of running our own data centre, and we only pay while a frame is rendering.
Want it at $0.99 a GPU-hour?
Tell us what you render and how big your jobs are. It takes a minute. We email you once if it launches, and never otherwise.
